Dr Callen Chizuni Wamundila

I am a programme officer responsible for ensuring better outcomes for women and the newborn. I also conduct research and implement evidence based interventions. As a programme officer I work closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit and provide analytical expertise and translate data into information that is used to inform decisions. I also participate in developing policy briefs that are shared with policy makers to facilitate the use of data by key stakeholders including politicians to influence policy. I therefore bring this expertise to the platform and I am looking forward to gaining more skill in the use of different tools to analyse maternal and newborn health data.
